Trash Disposal

Bulk Items:  Pick up of bulk items is scheduled for Fridays.

Articles should be placed out Thursday afternoon.

Place the items near the dumpster, closer to our stop sign on the grass.

Please do not place items in front of or too close to the dumpster as it blocks the garbage trucks and makes it impossible for them to pick up our trash.

Construction items: such as cabinets, sinks, drywall and toilets must be removed by your contractor.

If you place these items by our dumpster, we will be charged a fee for a special pick up that will ultimately be charged back to you.

Recycling

Also, we try to recycle. You will find containers for either plastic or paper waste.

Please break down your boxes and place them in the appropriate container.

Do not place plastic bags in the plastic recycling container.  If you use a bag to collect your plastics, we request that you empty the contents of the bag into the appropriate container then place the empty bag in the trash.

If you have any questions, please ask a board member.

Do not not overload the bins, we also ask that you place your trash only in the containers on our side. Please remember that if the trash exceeds the 2 yd limit, Waste Pro will levy a charge. And it wouldn’t be neighborly if we caused our neighbors to have to incur that added expense.

Please note that flushing anything other than toilet paper will cause our system to back up. That includes wipes, (even if they say they are flushable), feminine products, paper towels etc.
