BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Regularly scheduled meetings are open to all unit owners; the Board also conducts closed meetings as needed. Please ask a Board member to have an item added to the meeting agenda, as only items on each meeting agenda are discussed at that meeting. Meeting notices are posted in advance on the locked bulletin boards near the laundry room.

The Association conducts an Annual Meeting, held once a year (frequently in February), to elect Directors to the Board. After 5 Directors are chosen, they conduct a closed organizational meeting to elect officers and assign roles and tasks. Any unit owner may run for a position on the Board — the only qualifications are an interest in maintaining and bettering the quality of life in the building, good will, ability to listen and hear others, and to compromise occasionally. United Civic Organization (UCO) UCO is the governing body of Century Village, and each Association has an assigned number of Delegates – Sussex H has 1 delegate who is responsible for representing the Association on community related items through the Delegate Assembly. The Delegate Assembly meets monthly (on the first Friday of each month at 9:30AM at the Clubhouse.
